Appomattox Court House National Historical Park Bookstore — Local services in Appomattox

Visited a Monday morning in late May (Memorial Day weekend). It's a small store so I can imagine it being a little crazy busy on a weekend. There was a great selection of merch from NPS/Eastern national. They have passport cancellation patches, pins and hiking medallion and a bunch of other items. Lots of books and apparel as well. There were also snacks available.

The two ladies working there were very friendly and super helpful in answering our questions.

The Appomattox Court House National Historic Site Cancelation Stamp is also located in this bookstore. It's on the left side when entering next to the counter. I included a picture of it.

It is absolutely a good plan to stop by the Court House park book store in the Clover Hill Tavern Kitchen building before leaving the park.

Especially since the Appomattox Park is a no entry-fee park, your purchase will help support the NPS maintain this important piece of American history.

There are books, shirts & hats, other souvenirs, and stickers for your NPS passport. I am reminded of my visit to the park every time I enjoy a cup of coffee in the mug I bought...

A quaint little place. I got a nicer quality Virginia state flag here than the one I had, a 36 star USA flag, and my wife found a nice postcard and a magnet. Good selection...
