A warm and special time on a cold and rainy day. I recently had the pleasure of having Micki Le consult with me on my long hair. No one has ever done this before. She spent so much time with me and educated me on what I could do better/different to get more out of my hair. I learned things I had never known-do you know you can have too much moisture? She pointed out parts that were completely different colors and lengths and made my hair more uniform. My hair has never felt so soft and untangled. Sometimes after its washed, you get it dirty again with too much product-not the case with Micki. She came up with ideas and several styles for my hair and I can't wait to try these ideas.I look forward to my next appt. with her and feel like Cinderella waving a magical wand over what used to be a mess. Mikki is the only person I trust with my hair now. After just one haircut, I learned more about my hair than I've learned from any other stylist (or even Google). If you show her a picture of what you want done to your hair, she's not afraid to tell you if it's not going to work with your texture, length, color, etc.

Ever since I started following her recommendations, I've noticed a dramatic difference in the health of my hair. My mom even started getting her short hair cut at Tanglez, and now she refuses to go anywhere else. Mikki immediately noticed the odd direction that her hair grows and tailored the cut to suit it (this was the first time a stylist or even my mom had ever noticed this).

I've also never felt so comfortable and at-ease in a hair salon. I usually dread the awkward small talk you get when seeing someone new, but Mikki makes you feel like you've been friends for years. She only books one appointment at a time, so you have her full attention.

The first time I went to Tanglez/Mikki, we had such a good conversation we considered it a visit, not an appointment. Mikki is the best stylist I have been to in 30 years, she does what I ask....but, if she thinks it won't look good on me or that I won't like it, she tells me so in such a way that I'm not offended. I love the one on one she has with her customers. You are the only one there, you have ALL of her attention while there. She's not trying to rush you to get to the next person waiting, or doing a cut while waiting on your color to process. I don't feel like just a number, she makes me feel like a friend.
