This peaceful out-of-the-way beach is located approximately 1.5 miles to the south of Lees Ferry off Lees Ferry Road. Here you will find plenty of free pave parking as well as a single stall vault toilet. From the parking lot to the beach area is only a few hundred feet, where you will find plenty of sandy beach real estate. Read moreThis place is a nice stop especially after driving in the 105 degree heat during the day. This access to the Colorado River is clean and nice. From the parking lot to the river is sand and was super cold at first but on a hot sunny day you really enjoy it. The views of the vermillion hills add a nice touch for just sitting back and relaxing. It has sandy shallow parts and deeper “swim holes”.
