I wish that I could give this place a 0 out of 10 but that is not possible so a one star it is. Walking into this place for the first time last year i could see how outdated everything was and the atmosphere was not welcoming in any way. When I was last there my boyfriend got in trouble for drinking when he is 21 years old and the people running the beer stand knew this because he has been there quite often. We also saw the promoters ( Bob and Susan) in Boone and both got nasty looks from them. I would not recommended going here because the promoters should be nice and welcoming but they are quite the opposite. Luckily the time between it going past the canopy and sunset isn't long. Usually have 6 divisions of racing using both the main track and a smaller road course like for the truck class. Fun class to watch!
Admission is 12 to get in and food was anywhere from a $1 for fresh chocolate chip cookies (2 of them for your dollar!) to $5 for a racers taco.Do bring cash with you! They do not take cards and do not have an ATM

The staff is courteous and do their best to be accommodating. Great place to take kids...
