I had placed an order for 4 shirts @14.99 each. When my order arrived 3/4 if the shirts were a size 1X and NOT the XL that I paid for. There were no indications on Facebook, website or app that a 1X would be substituted for the XL. As anyone who wears these sizes, knows that wears XL and 1X they are different sizes! XL being a misses size and 1X being a plus size. With that said, the response I received from Sydney at customer service was their model Erin can wear either XL or 1X so they are put together in the warehouse and sold as the same size. I was also told that If I was unhappy with the items I could send them back- shipping is on me- and they would credit my store account for the cost of the items, and their policy is no refunds to credit/debit/ Or PayPal. I have sent 3 emails back to customer service with no response. In those emails I made very clear that I did not receive the merchandise that I paid for, and that if after store credit, I am not guaranteed that I will receive the XL like I paid for, as they have stated they sell the 1X and XL as the same size. I also suggest that ZZS update their sizing option to include the 1X option so women can have that option that want it and women like me, who 1X is too large for, don’t receive it. I also asked if I would be reimbursed shipping, and receive a refund to my bank card, because I didn’t not receive what I paid for! If you are going to order from the company I suggest using PayPal so you might have a fighting chance at receiving a refund- I’m almost positive Pay Pal would agree with me that I didn’t not receive what I paid for, in that there were zero disclosures about XL and 1X being sold as the same size- and that I ordered XL and did not receive that size. And to add that their model Erin is broader in the shoulders and more fuller in the arms than I am. I have a smaller frame than Erin does, but my chest is quite large compared to women my size. I can wear a Large but and XL is more comfortable. As for the shirts that I ordered they were “loose fitting style” so for someone who can wear a Large, with a small frame, you could imagine how my frame was swallowed in these 1X I received! My orders arrive quickly and I have had absolutely no problem with getting responses to my messages. Also, if you place the order within an hour of adding the item to your cart you get free shipping. If you live in the area you can choose to pickup your order if you need it quicker. I did this when I needed a top for a theme day at work. While they do not typically give refunds (seems to be the standard practice of boutiques) they want you to be happy with your purchase and will give you a credit toward a future order. I have had this when I ordered something that was the wrong size. As for the review that stated that you could save money by buying the items elsewhere, I have not found this to be true. They generally post the brand names in the descriptions. I have tried to find items that I like which were sold out with Zig Zag and I found that they cost more with the supplier. The next day, Thursday, August 31, 2023, everything that I purchased is 50% off. I was happy and disappointed because I was planning to spend more money and disappointed because I just bought a bunch of items at much higher prices.
So I contacted them via IM on Thu, August 31 asking for a price adjustment for a store credit and received a reply the next day, saying that they cannot adjust pricing and/ or give me store credit. I told them that I would buy a lot more than the credit that I would have received. I also gave them a call, hoping that they would work with me and they said no.
They said that I can return them but I already wore the pants and top, and remove packaging from all of them. Also on the return, they would only give store credit. I told them that I no longer want to do anymore business with them.
