Island View is a great place because of it's location and the incredibly friendly and welcoming "bartender" Kathy. I recommend visiting ONLY when the OWNER IS NOT PRESENT. He lacks an ability to make people feel welcomed or appreciated. He show little respect for his customers and what they contribute to support his business - perhaps he doesn't need support? I recommend he show an appreciation to the community to all who support his business rather than chastise them or feel like dirt. Beautiful deck. Good spot for a beer and hot dog. Not a full kitchen but store has plenty snacks etc. i believe its only accessible by water during high tide or a small tender.

Went there again recently and had a great experience but got served beer in a plastic cup. I asked why and said because they only have one sink and the health department requires them to have a full dishwashing station to have beer glasses, so bring your own if you dont want to use plastic.
