second look flea mart — Local services in Ashland

Lots of appliances and various unique items (such as doors, laundry sinks...) and overstock items. I often had passed Second Look on Rte 33 (north of Glen Allen...listed as Montpelier?) and seen items out front. Today, being a Saturday, I stopped and checked it out.

Lots of appliances like stoves/ovens, washers, dryers and a lot of refrigerator/freezers. The prices are very good. The selection is good. They also had several different sink/bathroom cabinets. Talking with one of the owners, he told me that items are overstock or appliances being replaced by newer models. There are some that were floor models but most are new...they will tell you if it was a floor model.

Very friendly and easy to look around. The inventory changes frequently. If you have rental property(ies) this would be a great place to look for an appliance. It might be hard to find matching sets of different appliances but the styles are relevant and great value. Open Saturdays...

I passed this place several times when it was closed. I decided to catch it when it was open and it's a quaint place. If you need home furnishings, this could be your place. I have been searching for a portable dishwasher but never found one for a decent price. I stopped there and inquired about portable dishwasher and they had 2 of them. It was held for me and when I came to pick it up, they placed it in my vehicle. I'm satisfied with my dishwasher and I will definitely be returning for more items for my home. Also, if you have rental properties, this place is a gold mine. Go...
