When you look up country store in the dictionary they have a picture of this store. It hits all the notes of a typical Amish country store in this county. It has everything you need to bake all the standard stuff flour sugar, seasonings. The staple items like eggs and milk are typically high, but it is out in the country and there isn't a lot of competition. They have a deli meat counter and everything looks good and the prices are all good. They also have a baked good counter and everything looks great and a fair slice slice of cheesecake is $3.50, and a slice of apple pie or cherry pie is $2.99, which I think is a great price. But the shining star here are the made while you wait sandwiches which fully loaded or only $5.25 and are like 3 in thick made on homemade bread. Really delicious, makes your typical fast food even at a higher price look like the total garbage that it is. They accept all the major credit cards which is a major plus there's a lot of these little Amish stores don't. I will be coming back for more.

When I shop in Andover, I take a field trip to Byler’s. First, I order a freshly made deli sandwich. While they’re making it, I grab a basket, meander around the store a buy something new or unusual each time. All of their refrigerated pre-made salads are tasty, such as the potato salad, macaroni salad, cole slaw. There are many fresh and frozen goodies i plan to try next. They offer many different flours, sugars, sprinkles, spices, bulk foods, candies, and some very flavorful Salt Creek coffee beans. đŸ«˜ Their homemade bread selection is outstanding, their baked goods are delicious, and I appreciate that they offer servings and portions for one person, i don’t need a family size. Beyond food, there are also gifts, greeting cards, handmade items, art, furniture, kitchen tools, holiday ingredients and treats
everywhere you look there is something interesting. Lovely, pleasant employees.

Just discovered this place this past weekend and I have already shopped here twice! Such a fun little country store! So much to choose from! Delicious fresh baked items (cannot recommend the old fashioned graham pudding enough!), great prices on delicious deli meats and truly something for everyone. I am so excited to have found this gem of a place! Also, the ladies working in there are the nicest people I have met working in a store in a long time! Do yourself a favor and visit this place! Just be sure you have some extra spending money, because you will probably be tempted by pretty much...
