Jefferson Lanes — Local services in Ashtabula

This review is being done by my husband. So for starters they overcharge for garbage quality food that we never received because their ovens are shot. 2 of the lanes were completely shot they assigned the kids. Their ball return cracked a kid’s dad’s personal ball in half..they never got the food out in 3 hours of the party. The woman whose husband owns the place is nasty negative and constantly claiming “it’s not our fault” well it is when you don’t up keep your alley for one. And 2 their ovens were shot so they couldn’t cook the food, and wouldn’t allow us to order out. Ruined my kids birthday party and made us look as if we didn’t provide food for a 3-4 hour event. And they had no intentions of coping the expenses of a ruined party..everyone at the party’s kids were crying for food and they wouldn’t allow any outside food but couldn’t provide it themselves. Garbage establishment and if I end up having to pay for any more than the 2 lousy lanes that did function properly, I will be contacting the BBB. Do not do a party there, garbage establishment. The coolers are way too cold and explode the drinks..this place is genuinely falling apart. Go else where. Staff is garbage just like the building. Visited this establishment in late April. Just an overall poor experience. The staff are rude, the big guy behind the desk should not be in customer service. The food was severely over priced, and honestly wasn't very good. Have had better food from McDonald's. The bowling center itself if very dirty, the restrooms smell like stale urine, one urinal in the man's room doesn't even work, and a regular there told me it hasn't worked in 2 years. Overall, I would avoid this place. Not an establishment I'd feel safe sending my friends or family to. The County Health inspector should visit here. In addition to this review, this "establishment" is not ADA compliant, they pay all their workers under the table, and they think that slapping lipstick on that pig of theirs makes a difference. It's still a pig! Short larger lady behind the food counter has service attitude whenever you ask a question about their menu. Should not be waiting on customers. Never been to a place where the family just has a full blown argument in front of all the customers. Real professional...

I recently had a Birthday party for my son and daughter here..and I have to say..I was blown away..by how kind and caring the staff was..the ladies at the food counter were soo nice and helpful with any questions we had and they were so sweet to decorate two pins for my son and daughter to have their friends sign...the young man and slightly older guy at the front desk got us started to bowl..both were very friendly..and made sure my kiddos has a ball just right for them....oh and the pizza...omg it was delicious...thankyou sooo much jefferson lanes..my kids are already begging me for their...
