I took my chainsaw to Tyler’s in the beginning of January for warranty work due to carburetor issues, I was told that it would not be covered under warranty, I repeated it was under warranty. Never heard back on my chainsaw, called end of January and was told they were waiting on a speciality tool thru Poland to adjust the carb, called back in Feb was told the same thing called back in March and was told the same thing again, than I was informed I could come pick my chainsaw up, If I didn’t want to wait. I called Northern Tool up in Knoxville and they said there is no specialty tool, it’s a regular splined screwdriver, I picked my chainsaw up and went up to Knoxville (Northern Tool) and they adjusted my carb in like 10 minutes, It’s too bad you can’t do business local,I will never do business with Tyler’s Again, not only did they lie, but they were very rude and unprofessional, If you don’t want to do warranty work, take your name off the warranty...
Read moreI have called tyler's multiple times trying to find a place with the parts I need instock. He wont even look them up or tells me he cant get them which is isn't true if your in the small engine business you have a multitude of sources to order from. They don't want to get me parts cause they want to repair my broken equipment. If I could afford to pay someone I would. I cannot so I repair my own things. Its cheaper to order off the internet but if I can pay a few dollars more and get the part sooner im happy to do that. Ive asked about common parts on multitude models and he claims he cant get them. He wouldn't even look up the part number as. I have purchased things from here but it seemed like more of a hassle than it was worth. Im done...
Read moreI'd rather not but will anyway. Tried to rip me off on a chainsaw repair that was under warranty in 2012 or 13. Tried to blame bad fuel and charge $60 just for cleaning it out. This was not true. Did not realize I know small engines too and was only there so as not to void my warranty. Did me know good. Fixed chainsaw myself. Coil went bad after 3 hours of use. I knew what was wrong with it when I walked un the door with it. Dad wouldn't go there after similar experience when I was a child and now I'll never go there...
