Excellent classrooms and common areas, first class food and accommodations, comfortable rooms, this is a place I would like to spend some serious mountain time. Unfortunately it is only open for meetings and groups. I was part of the Arkansas Master Naturalists BioBlast that was held there so we spent much time outside. They have a fishing pond that is well stocked with bream a pollinator garden and plenty of nearby trails. Several have waterfalls and the front fountains have a variety of frogs to entertain at night. There is a big barn for dances and weddings. Read moreThis an amazing place to come and see. They offer a wide variety of activities and the facilities are wonderful. The Made From Scratch classes are a lot of fun. Chef does a wonderful job teaching about the food, ingredients, preparation methods, and the science of cooking. Their Table for Two events are also amazing and you get to cook your own food and stay the night, if you choose, at the lodge. I attended a special Walks with the Governor workshop, highlighting the contributions of the Rockefeller family and Governor Rockefeller to the state of Arkansas.
