I actually joined Cathedral back in 1990 after moving from the Chicago area, but after the Church split in 1999, I left with Bishop Jonathan Greer II. A lot transpired over the years, and in 2017 the Holy Ghost told me to return, which I was not very excited about. I obeyed, and after meeting with the current Pastor, Dr. Arthur F. Mosley, I knew it was going to be alright!. He and his wife, Evg. Sheila Mosley, are actually very genuine and sincere people who love of God. He is also a prolific world renowned Bible Scholar and Teacher who supports Ministries in Africa, Asia, Australia, the Islands, and more. They are concerned about people, and advancing them in the Kingdom of God; this is important to me because he takes Ministry out of the 4 walls of the Sanctuary. Read moreVisited Cathedral on 11/19/17 and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The congregation was extremely friendly and loving not only to one another but also to first time visitors. The choir was phenomenal and the Pastor preached an ON TIME word! I do not live in ATL and just happened to be visiting for a couple of days, however Cathedral is now my ATL church home and I will visit EVERY time I'm in town. If you're looking for a church that loves God, loves people and will accept you for who you are, then be sure to stop by Cathedral. They aren't playing church here- they genuinely want you to be spiritually fed when you walk out of their doors. They don't want you to leave battered or broken. They want you to feel loved and supported. I cannot stop singing their praises! Cathedral, Thank you for your ministry! Can't wait...
Read moreI like the church but the ushers are a bit bossy. I invited a friend to come to the church tha was not the church going person. He was sitting right next to me and I didn't notice he had gum, one of the mean ushers stood at the end on the row pointing and making faces then passed him a tissue. What? We are not kids! Anyways, this made him feel horrible so we left, he said he would never go back to church again.
Thanks a lot mean ushers and I am sure GOD is not pleased with this... What could have been a chance to win a soul pushed the soul farther away...
I have not attend this church...
