Edit to response: Maybe I shouldn't assume you're trying to garner sympathy due to a negative review but you're lack of urgency on the phone, already stating that you were closing early because no one was there, and telling us you only charge by the hour and it was after 9 and you close at 10 leads me to believe... Well I'll just say a prayer for your heart and peace for your family for your loss. We have had great times here. However tonight I was shocked with the way I was spoken to on the phone. I called at 8:32 to see if they were open and available lanes. The response was it was empty and they were going to close early unless we wanted to come, he would stay open. I told him we would head that way and hung up. I called right back to tell him we were coming from Kokomo so he knew it would take us a few to get there. We were approximately 2 miles away when I missed a call at 8:56. I called right back and the "man" answered speaking very condescending very nasty and said "you should have been here by now. I'm closing." I was extremely taken back by the tone he spoke to me in. I explained we were 2 miles away and he said "it takes 20 minutes from Kokomo you should have been here by now." again in a very hateful tone. We had 5 kids we had loaded in the car and went straight there. My maps had it at 24 minutes away. It would have been far more reasonable to speak in a professional manner and explain that we wouldn't get our money worth and he was closing and we would need to come another day. I hung up with my mouth dropped open in disbelief how he spoke to me while on speaker with 5 kids hearing how disrespectful he was. I thought for a minute and called back and said "that was very unkind of you to speak to me like that." He continued his hateful harsh tone telling me it was 20 minutes from Kokomo and we should have been there already. I will never take my family here again. We didn't let him ruin our night and had a great time at Heritage Lanes in Kokomo!

This place has come a long way! Massive congrats to the owner. I remember when I was younger, this place was not near as good or popular as it is now! It seemed run down and almost dead inside. After a very well-done remodel, this place is great and always packed! The place really has its own soul and vibe now! I am so glad this place is flourishing. The owner is a really nice man who legitimately loves bowling. He has bowled perfect games himself and actually has vast knowledge of the game! A lot of bowling alleys are owned by non bowlers who know nothing of the game. Suburban Lanes...

We driven by many times and the place kind of blends in and you don't notice it or forget it's there but we decided to go after planning a couple activities in the area. We were pleasantly surprised. It's a nice, close-by bowling lane that is reasonably priced and fun. The kids enjoyed themselves. They have a couple pool tables by the hour as well. Just plan on bringing cash as they don't take cards if you want to avoid the ATM fees using...
