Please do not put any loved ones in this facility. I was the for 4 days. I arrived on a Thursday. And I was asking Friday morning to send me to a better facility. Thursday night, I never got my supper. Oh well, but the blamed me for that mistake. Then at 430-5 Friday morning, I pushed my call light and 3 people came into my room. All 3 people had NO IDEA that I was even in that room. When I brought it up the next morning, they said that was not true and didn't happen. It is a no smoking facility there. I am a smoker. And I was told I couldn't go outside even to the sidewalk to smoke. Oh well, not a big deal. But I heard from the staff, that the DON had no problem smoking on company property. The staff told me that. Some of the staff had other horrific things to say about the place. When I transferred to a much better facility, they wrote that I denied any and all my cares. Which I will not understand that cause why would I deny my care. I was literally asking for the care. Cause if I didn't have to ask for everything, nothing would have happened. It's a very shocking place. Please do not send a loved one here. There are SO SO MUCH better places. The new place I am currently at. Is AMAZING. The best thing I did was to ask to leave there. I can go on and on about that place. They make up lies. They take zero responsibility for what happens there. The state needs to get involved because that place has a terrible reputation...
Read moreI stayed here for three weeks, participating in their "Rehab to Home" program after a surgery on my back and neck. The staff and residents all made me feel very welcome, starting with Mel who cheerfully went out of her way to prepare my room with gifts in my favorite color. I was given a peaceful room with a sunny view, and I enjoyed watching the first snowfall through my window. I never really felt bored either; Missy keeps you very busy with activities. There are also lots of opportunities to socialize. The kitchen serves many of my favorite meals. Morgan gives the best baths. I also appreciated that the Physical Therapy Team was so willing to listen to me and adapt to my unique needs. Although my time recovering from surgery has not been long, I feel I have made many friends at ASC. I am so grateful that God brought me to Atlantic...

They didn't check ton him to see if he needed his depends changed.
