This was my first time here. I was surprised how many animals there were for sale here ..... I saw 2 peacock's,(one in each cage) in a cage that was only big enough for it to stand up in...it couldn't lay down or turn around, I didn't see any water or fod for either of them.....
I saw dogs, too many in a cage, no food or water....
There were chickens, stuffed in a cage, they couldn't move....no food or water....
My heart broke for those animals š
I bought some bottled water and brought it to the guy that had too many dogs in a cage, offered it to him & he held up a thermos.....I said is that water for the dogs? He didn't understand,he didn't speak English.... I handed the bottles of water to him again and said" please", in Spanish....he didn't want to,but he took it...
There were other dogs & I mentioned that the dogs water bowl was empty and said it's really hot out today. The people just looked at me....the woman said something about the dogs spill the water.....
The things that they had for sale were expensive, for a flea market....... I don't think I will return......
It is a large Flea Market with different things for sale. If you like big Flea Markets, you might...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is one of the biggest flea markets I have ever been to. It's mainly an outdoor flea market, although there are a few vendors that have store-like buildings .There are food vendors selling fresh fruits and vegetables. There are people selling boiled and roasted peanuts. They also have small restaurants that.sell hamburgers,Ice cream , hot dogs and other fast foods and drinks( water and soft drinks). They sell clothing, shoes, boots, lawn mowing equipment, dogs, cats, exotic birds and sometimes other pets. They have cell phone cases and tempered glass screen protectors. They sell tools, jewelry, toys, antiques, dishes what nots, hats, belts , bedspreads, household and vintage items as.well as.health and beauty products. Basically, they sell almost everything you could want! Open on Sunday. Rules say no dogs allowed ( which I find odd,as they sell dogs!).It is not really wheel chair accessable as there are slopes and gravel. It covers a large area. Bring a cart or wagon with you. Some vendors sell carts for $25. You definitely...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely appalled at the behavior of owner and "staff" who try to bully, intimidate, and threaten vendors! DO NOT COME HERE TO THIS "MARKET". waste of time, and they'll use a security guard against you that will threaten to throw you in jail for "attitude" if you have a different opinion. Guess that's how it works here. Owners ride around on golf carts too lazy to actually check on the animals, yet complain on the ones who are taken care of the most. If you value animals and your TIME and MONEY, then SAVE IT by driving the other way! Can't believe there's people with guns on there hip pretending to be the police. I really hope it gets shut down but I know it won't. People with alot of money think they can treat you anyway they can. Don't support these people! Take business elsewhere. No hate on the vendors just negligent people...
