BlueScope Recycling and Materials — Local services in Auburn

I am writing this review to express my disappointment with the lack of follow-through on a promise made by BlueScope Recycling and Materials. They caused damage to one of our trailer while unloading it. Initially, they assured us that they would cover the costs of the repairs, but regrettably, they failed to keep their word. When our driver witnessed the damage, he immediately reported the incident. Their representative acknowledged their responsibility and assured us that they would take care of the necessary repairs and gave him contact information of their supervisor Jeff Popovich once we know how much it would cost to repair the damage to let him know so they can reimburse us. We did as instructed, however, as time went on, it became evident that their promise was nothing more than empty words. After two weeks of numerous attempts to follow up via phone and emails and seek resolution, we got an email stating that they concluded they didn't damage our trailer. It is disheartening to see a company that initially appeared to be professional and accountable fail to live up to their commitments. Not only did BlueScope Recycling and Materials fail to fulfill their promise, but they also demonstrated a lack of communication and transparency throughout the process. We were left in the dark, constantly having to chase them for updates and clarification. This lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction is deeply disappointing. As a result of their unfulfilled promise, we were forced to bear the financial burden of repairing the damage ourselves. We trusted BlueScope Recycling and Materials to handle our trailer with care, and their failure to take responsibility for their actions has left us feeling let down and taken advantage of. In conclusion, I cannot recommend BlueScope Recycling and Materials based on our experience. Their failure to honor their commitment to cover the damage they caused to our trailer, coupled with their lack of communication and accountability, has left us deeply dissatisfied. DO NOT under any circumstances take your scrap here in took in two whole five gallon buckets of clean #2 copper and they scrapped it as steel without telling me they were going to do that so my 450 that I wouldve gotten from metal x turned into 70 because these people are too lazy to weigh up two different things separately. They were already separated all they had to do was weigh the copper as copper instead of throwing it in with the steel....
