I was highly dissatisfied with the “service” I received from Mainly Electrical. The renovation on my home was delayed by 5 months due to things being done incorrectly and untimely. They had a helper performing most of the work without oversight by a master electrician. I needed a 200 amp service done which required coordination with CMP. On the day this was scheduled, Mainly Electrical showed up unprepared and they were unwilling to dig the hole required to have the service done. This was rescheduled with CMP (after I found someone else to dig the hole). At this point it had rained. Once again, Mainly Electrical was not helpful. Rather than taking the time to pump out the water, they said they needed to schedule for a third attempt. I had to pump the water out myself to make sure there were no further delays. At the third attempt to get this done, Dom (the owner of the company) said that he couldnt complete the job and said there was something that needed to be fixed from CMPs end. Rather than waiting for CMP to arrive, he left. It was then discovered that there was a dead leg (something that should have been fixed by the electrician). Not once did Dom take accountability for any of this and continued to blame others for the issues not being resolved. At this point, I decided it was time to discontinue partnership with Mainly Electrical and hire a new electrician to get the job done. Within less than 30 minutes, the new electrician was able to complete the tasks needed for set up of our 200amp service. In addition to this, other electrical errors were discovered that then needed to be fixed. Regardless of this, I was still charged (and found out later I was overcharged). Due to his lack of communication, lack of sense of urgency, lack of accountability, and his unprofessionalism, I would never recommend Dom and his company for electrical needs (big or small).
