Stites Grocery — Local services in Auglaize Township

Not happy at all with my last experience today. I was overcharged for quite a few items. I call and talk to a manager and she explains the girl working for her knows the prices and asked me to check my groceries. She puts me on hold to talk to the cashier and for me to look to see if I had anything for the stated price. I told her nothing on my receipt for the prices they were. I explained I could bring my groceries back and my receipt to show her the difference I am owed. She explains again the girl she has working knows the prices and the cashiers excuse was that I got alot of groceries and she never attempted to apologize or try to make it right by any means and said there's nothing they can do since I had left the store. I feel like I was called a liar. I was just trying to be honest especially so that it doesnt happen to anyone else. Even after telling her I could bring everything back I just got home to bring my groceries in, they were still in the trunk...

I have to give Stites a one star, not for what they offer on the shelves, but, for the treatment of at least one disabled individual -- me. I was refused entrance via a FB message when I asked if the store's mask mandate honored the Governor's exemptions from wearing one. The answer was clear that "everyone is required to wear a mask". Me, a disabled Army Vet in a V.A. issued motorized chair (I said these words in a PM to the manager) was told it didn't matter. In fact, the answer to me was this --- "Have a great day!". They may have some good prices on outdated items but that does t matter much when they have incompetent cashiers over charging. Last time the red hair dude with the beard overcharged me $14 then today i only had $13 in soda and drinks which was 9 items and the lady with the face piercing was so busy talking to others and not paying attention that she rang up 11 items and overcharged. Last 2 trips I have been over charged $17 so that defeats the purpose of even making the drive to that place. I suggest watching those 2 cashiers. Maybe separate your items to help them because they are so incompetent. Maybe Stites needs to put them...
