Bare with me as it takes a lot for me to write a negative review and I gave this business multiple chances to do the right thing. I ordered what turned out to be an $198 flower arrangement to be delivered to a friend. My first concern is I never received an email or text confirmation. I saw I was charged for the product and had to call the business who then told me it was delivered. My friend sent me pictures and, although pretty, it was definitely different than what I ordered and absolutely not worth $200. I called ATX flowers with my concern and they asked me to text the picture to a cell phone and my complaint. The following is our text exchange. "We upgraded your order on the container also add peonies and lilies for you order. What is your concern again please?" I responded "I am sorry. I'm not understanding. Its reasonable that I should have been contacted if you wanted to upgrade the container, which wasn't a priority. Also, this is a very different arrangement than the one I ordered. I would prefer the one ordered and should been contacted as such. Additionally there is no email or text confirmation for the order or delivery. I do not understand how this is a $200 arrangement and would not have chosen this on your website for near the cost. I definitely believe in supporting local distances, that is why I went with you but I am unsatisfied with your response." Their response "Your friend redacted LOVED the arrangement, and very appreciative of the flowers. We talked over the phone after delivery as a solification (?) phone call. Please advise". "Of course the the person who receives it will be appreciative. But that is not where my issue is, it is that I bought something which looked to cost $200 and received a product that is not worth $200. I am not arguing it is not a nice arrangement but it is an arrangement I would spend half the amount I did on. As a business owner, I can only hope that you see this is a legitimate grievance and give a partial refund." Their response "I understand. Unfortunately, we are unable to do any refund on this order. The product is beautiful, your service was provided appropriately and completely. However the story can offer you 10% off discount on this product as a new customer and refund if back to your account." "I am extremely disappointed with the response. I will write a review. I typically do not do this but this is basically robbing me of a service I paid for. You are a company that has the ability to refund services if you need. I will submit the product ordered as well as what I was provided as well as the complete text responses to me and the fact you are refusing to refund. I am being extremely reasonable my request and I am been very clear with you that these with the next steps I will take." "I understand you do not accept our nice offer. Anything else we can do for you? Have a wonderful day." To their credit, Lindsay did call me after, hence 2/5 stars. I asked what they could do to rectify this situation. She said that her boss was not willing to do anything further than what evidently anyone can get with a 10% first time order. I did tell her that I did not want to shoot the messenger but I did not understand how this was okay. Anyway, as you can see, I laid it all out there. You can make your own determination if what occurred was fair not. Like I said before, it takes a lot for me to write a negative review, especially of a local business, but I do feel they took my money, made decisions without consulting me and gave me a lesser product without any acknowledgement this was inappropriate.

I ordered these flowers for a friend’s birthday (out of state- we ordered from Missouri for Austin delivery), and they arrived looking dead. They were left at the front door, definitely for no more than two hours, not in direct sunlight, <75 degrees, and looked like the pictures. There was dampness but no container holding water. No vase included, which surprised us for over $100. They were left in what looks like the baggy from a grocery store. Paid $126. Nobody called to let her (or us) know that they have been delivered. The card message was stapled to the card and looked like it was printed from a dot matrix printer (see image). We were aghast with embarrassment when our friend contacted us with pictures. We contacted the florist asking for a refund or replacement, and my wife was told they have a “shortage of flowers” and “this case has been closed, we can only give you a 10% refund (which they didn’t).” The last photo is what was promised. Save yourself the headache and purchase your flowers from a reputable florist.

It seems most have had good experiences with this florist, but sadly our experience was far from good. We paid $140 for a large "Flowers Are Happy" arrangement with delivery for Mother's Day. What we got was a poorly done, anemic arrangement with no delivery notification. I finally asked my mother to check outside late in the day, where she discovered this poorly done arrangement sitting on the porch. I tried contacting this company several times, understanding that Mother's Day must be extremely busy and that things like this can happen. I have yet to hear anything back despite reaching out several times. I normally use Freytag Flowers on Anderson, but decided to try ATX Flowers based on the reviews, and very much regret that decision. Don't make the same mistake I made, avoid this business at all costs.
