First all, all these negative reviews about a crawfish boil are being posted in the wrong place. They should be on the event page. This page is simply for Carson Creek. The crawfish festival only rented the land. Carson Creek in no way was responsible for how that festival was handled. Please redirect your reviews to the festival page if you want to make an impact on the event producers.

That being said. this is a beautiful area with water front access and beautiful pastures. The woman who owns the property is incredibly hard working, kind, and caring. She’s a true Austinite thru and thru. She puts so much of herself into keeping this place beautiful. Like seriously this place is a gem in this middle of Austin, and we are all lucky to have an opportunity to...

Mixed feelings. Had a great time at the Punk in Drublic fest, and I think some of the complaints I have (lack of food vendors, ran out of drinking water etc) are more the fault of the production company, BUT this venue is nestled in an industrial area right next to a manure plant. It rained and huge shocker, the run off from the manure plant made everything smell HORRIBLE. Other than that, the venue is a nice plot of land right next to the Colorado River away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you go, PLAN AHEAD and get a DD because if you think you're gonna ride share (Uber, lyft) THINK AGAIN. You'll be waiting hours for them to be able to get in on the only road in and out with all the venue traffic...

Went there Sunday for the Crawfish festival. AWFUL!!! We paid for VIP tickets, $50 per person. Claims to cover getting in early, and all you can eat crawdads…no staff knew what they where doing or what was going on..waited for 2+ hours in line with hundreds of other poor hungry people. We finally got knowledge from someone who investigated that they ran out of crawfish on Saturday and are scrambling to get more..I get that we are in a post-COVID world, but whoever planed this event l need to have some serious words with….#yesimhangry...

This is a gorgeous little utopia in Austin, and the wonderful owner and the ranch itself had nothing to do with this apparently awful crawfish event. My family and friends and I have enjoyed this amazing place and it’s selfless owner on several occasions and I have nothing but positive experiences and memories! [photo by Rustin Gudim]
