I can’t say enough good things about Girl Power Fitness! A friend initially recommended them to me, and signing up has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself.

I used to enjoy strength training, but it’s been years since I really focused on it, and trying to develop my own routines felt like a chore that never got done. I just turned 55, and lifting weights feels more important than it’s ever been. Now I get three workouts a week that I can do on my own time, without a lot of fancy equipment (a mat, dumbbells, a step, and a chair are usually all that’s needed), and still see great results. Even better, I really enjoy the workouts! The exercises are varied enough to keep me interested, but consistent enough that I can gauge my improvement over time.

Whitney is an encouraging and supportive trainer, who is also very responsive to feedback. There have been one or two exercises I either shouldn’t do (because of a past injury) or just don’t care for, and I haven’t seen either one of those exercises again. I travel frequently, and this week I don’t have access to a gym, so Whitney created workouts for me using only body weight and a set of bands that I can easily take with me anytime I travel.

The workouts are all available through an app that is easy to use. I can move workouts around on the app calendar as needed, and chat with Whitney about anything that comes up. Each exercise has an accompanying short video demonstration, so if I’m not exactly sure what to do, I can watch the video to make sure I’m doing each exercise correctly.

Convenience, variety, support and encouragement, and most importantly, RESULTS. That’s Girl Power Fitness...

Working with Whitney is the main change I made last year, and the investment has paid off in every aspect of my life. I've hit all of my goals and then some. I've committed to a routine I can finally sustain. I've built strength, muscle, and stamina. I reached new milestones in months that I'd expected to take years. I see flattering numbers on scales. I look better in mirrors. I feel more capable and well fed. All sorts of random pains are gone.

Whitney knows how to meet someone where she is without judgment. She's extremely easy to be around. She pays attention, and she knows what she's doing. If you show up consistently, you will make progress you've been struggling to make on your own. I'd been looking for a trainer like Whitney for years, and there just isn't a close second. She's compassionate, intuitive, welcoming, and effective. I can't recommend her...

I am beyond thankful I found GirlPower Fitness! Back in October of 2021 I started looking for personal trainers (not in a gym setting since I have a medically fragile kiddo at home) who requires all customers/clients to be fully COVID vaccinated -- Girl Power Fitness does!

After a few sessions with Whitney, her fitness philosophy gave me the motivation I needed to prioritize my work lunch hour on me (ie: getting stronger, better posture, and lose baby weight (from kiddo #3)).

I have been working with Whitney since November of 2021and I have lost 25 pounds (from consistency, eating right and prioritizing my health during my work week). More importantly my sessions with Whitney reminds me that my fitness is part of my daily self-care routine which I have forgotten about being a mom of 3 children + having a Full-Time...
