Meadow Greens Golf Course — Local services in Austin

Wow! Love this golf course! I just started playing golf this summer and Mike at MG’s made me feel welcome and took the time to answer my questions (which were a lot!). They have 3 very unique, well-kept, fun courses all at one place (an executive shorter front 9, a longer winding meadow 9, and a wooded back 9). This is terrific because you can always get on one of them even during league/tournaments. The green fees are reasonable and the different 9’s are challenging. We have seen beautiful wildlife like turkey and deer rooming around. It’s wonderfully peaceful and there’s absolutely no pressure. I have now played several other courses but none of them compare to the relaxing, scenic experience at MG’s. They also have a pro shop selling clubs, bags, shoes, shirts, hats, balls, tees, etc. all at terrific prices. Lastly they support the local community and give large discounts to our children on the golf team....

I took a group of six friends down from the Twin Cities (guys in our 50s) and we had THE BEST TIME EVER. Staff was so kind and patient with us. The courses were in great shape, fun and challenging. One of our golfers took out "golf motorcycle" and he had a blast. Greens fees were very affordable and are a great value for the quality of the course. The clubhouse is expansive and they carry a lot of great gear. We planned to only play 27, but we were having such a good time that we ended up playing 36 holes. If I could give SIX STARS, I would. If you are looking for a great place to have a relaxing golf get away, this is it. Mike and his crew are awesome ! Course is always in great shape and offers a variety of challenges over its 27 hole layout. I have been coming down to Austin from central Minnesota for the last 7 years with a group of friends and we are planning on doing it again next year if not sooner .
