Thank you so much for saving my dress!! I had a dress I wore to an Indian wedding ~7 years ago that doesn't fit anymore, but I tried to squeeze into it recently for a party when I definitely should not have (lol). I got stuck and broke the zipper/tore the tulle while trying to take it off (lol again). It felt like such a waste to get rid of it and with another event coming up that would be worthy of the dress, I shopped around for a tailor in hopes of saving and using the garment again. I received a wide range of quotes from 5+ tailors. Nisha and her seamstress were not the cheapest, but their prices were fair for the work and expertise they offered. Other places were quoting me just to stitch the tulle, setting expectations with me that it would probably not look very nice which is fair because repairing tulle isn't really possible. Nisha recommended a more creative option (to trim off all the torn tulle) which I appreciated and was excited about. She checked with her seamstress, provided a fair price knowing my budget, and they delivered!! I was so excited to try it on and see that it fit and still looked so beautiful. I honestly think it kind of looks better because it shows off the skirt underneath. Thank you for taking on my unique project! Also, I caught a glimpse of her clothing selection and have already recommended a friend drop by to check out her inventory. I am extremely pleased and grateful to have found Taj Fashion. As someone who is new to Indian weddings and ceremonies, I was feeling overwhelmed until I walked into Nisha's store. Her warm and welcoming demeanor immediately put me at ease, and her vast knowledge about all types of Indian garments was truly impressive.

Despite being a one-person business located out of her house, Nisha has an incredible selection of clothing for men, women, and children. I found Nisha online and booked her to do henna in preparation for my wedding. During our session I learned she did so much more. She came to help me get dressed in a saree (which I had never worn before) for the welcome party before doing dozens of folks’ henna. They all loved it and the line just kept growing as people saw her work. She then joined us the day of my wedding to help drape and pin the sarees for all of my bridesmaids and then help me finish getting ready with the mang tikka, the veil, dupatta and everything else. Not only was she a total pro and so fun to work and hang out with, but she saved the day when my blouse burst open the first time I sat. She sprung into action and stitched it back up before I even had time to panic. Honestly, I’ve been calling her my fairy godmother. She was incredible and made the day so smooth and so special. My new Indian in-laws were totally impressed and repeatedly asked me where found her. I only wish I knew how much she had to offer earlier on so I could have had her alter some blouses instead of blindly ordering tops on Etsy that got caught up in customs bc tariffs changes.
