So yesterday I wanted to see the comet neo wise but the problem was that I lived to close to Bakersfield and the light pollution was impeding my observation. I decided that the only way to clearly see it is to drive up north and get as far away from the city as I can. I drove up north for an hour and decided to foolishly go into a bad road to get a better view.i drove in Utica Rd for a bit and decided it wasn't a good road and decided to take a U-turn . Upon doing the U turn, I misjudged the side of the road and thought it was hard ground, bit once I got ion it, it turned out to be soft sand. My car sunk in and I couldn't reverse at since I had FWD. So I made a round of calls to siblings and my older sister was the only one with equipment that could pull me out, but she lived two hours away. But just as about Ishe was about to leave to help me, a truck with 24 hour service sign on it me! I was like "this can't be happening!" Lol but it did! Ruben I believe his name was ask me if I needed any help, and yes indeed I really needed it lol. Apperantly he was just leaving from another rescue job down the road and saw me there in the middle of nowhere and was confused lol. I told him my story and he hooked up his winch on my bumper and pulled me out!

I told him I didn't even see the comet, but he informed me that there was a fire going up north creating a lot of smoke and that might be causing some difficulty.

Just when things were getting unlucky, this guy comes out of nowhere and brought me some luck! Lol I brought a lotto ticket afterwards!...

We were traveling home to Sacramento on I5 when we noticed our car was shaking pretty bad. To make a long story short, we came across Avenal Lube and Tire, who not only was open on a holiday, but they had the tires we needed and was able to break off the tire lock. All that, and got us back on the road in less than an hour. (Not to mention their prices were extremely fair and reasonable). Our family of 5 is so thankful to the friendly crew getting our vehicle road safe for the rest of our journey home. Highly recommend Avenal...

If I could I wouldn't give any stars. We were told they would be 45 min and after sitting on the side of the freeway for over 2 hrs, with toddlers, they finally showed up. They even had the nerve to lie and said they tried calling numerous times but failed to show us the proof. Never use...
