I’ve been fortunate enough of having Chef Amanda as a personal chef for the past 3 months during the pandemic, which has left me forgetting about the concept of eating out at restaurants- her meals have been on par if not better than anything I could find at my favorite Los Angeles spots (sorry restaurant folks). I always appreciate a chef that masters one genre of food and dedicates their time to perfecting it (which Chef Amanda has done with her incredible desserts), but what I value more in a chef is their drive and eagerness to experiment with different flavors/genres of food from a variety of cultures- and with Chef Amanda, I have eaten everything from Vietnamese, to Israeli, from French to Turkish, from Italian (With her to-die-for homemade pasta or truffle pizzas) to Japanese. There is nothing this chef is incapable of- she even deconstructed the scramble egg (something I typically have an aversion to), and reconstructed into a beautiful and flavorful dish with fresh herbs and market cheeses, a dish in which I will now hold as the standard to any scramble egg dish I have for breakfast. Truly, this is a talented young woman and an exquisite chef who can cater to anyone’s palate. Read moreAs an event planner and event producer, I've worked with Chef Amanda across multiple events - from small, intimate gatherings, 50-person sit down dinners and large 300 person launch events. From creating customized menus, addressing special dietary needs, creating a unique dining experience, and crafting an artful meal start to finish, she is a pro.
Her creative, flavorful food is unique without being gimmicky. She uses seasonal and local ingredients and supports small purveyors whenever possible. I appreciate her flair for plating, mapping out the perfect charcuterie board, or creating playful passed apps for a cocktail party.
The best part about working with Chef Amanda is that I know I can trust her to take care of the food and quality so that I can focus on the rest of the event. A total professional, she is a joy to work with and I would absolutely...
Read moreWe were given the gift of Chef Amanda just prior to having our first baby… literally, she was our “last meal” before we went to the hospital. Can I just say, it was her meal that for me through 30+ hours of labor! Every moment, component, and conversational topic for the 3.5 hours Amanda was with us was 100% worth every Penny that was spent to provide my husband and I with such an amazing gift. We started with a delicious charcuterie board full of Amanda’s favorites (now ours), a phenomenal salad I will spend the rest of my life trying to recreate, osso bucco that was melt in your mouth, and a dessert to die for. The only thing that would have made this better would have been wine ;) but… we will save that for the next time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I could never say enough to promote Amanda, and if I could I be sad that that I probably would never...
