Update: Just because they saw this review, they now messaged my wife saying they have room when we’re literally on the way to Los Angeles to drop these tortoises off because that was the closest place, and we live in San Diego. So thanks man. Great help. I’d give ZERO stars.

This establishment no longer takes in tortoises, I guess it could be that they’re full, but the no reply is very unprofessional. I had messaged them at the beginning of the month, sent in the photos of the two tortoises I found in a nearby park heard no reply until my wife message today because we can’t have these animals anywhere near our children anymore because we’re afraid of our kids dropping them. It just sucks that it’s the fact that my wife had to re-message and the individual said oh I forgot to reply. We did the right thing by saving these animals. Just very unprofessional. Maybe it wasn’t the owner we spoke to maybe it was, hopefully the animals that they take in are getting the proper care that they need. There wasn’t even a referral and I know Google is at your disposal and you can go ahead and type it in, but I hope that those who are reading this understand that having four children under the age of seven is very difficult having to manage, but my wife was able to take care of these animals alongside until someone replied to us again just very...

I could hear people cussing loudly in the background so I could barely hear what the person on the other end was saying - very unprofessional. Bran, who operates this rescue, was so incredibly kind and helpful when I called yesterday about our juvenile green iguana having mobility issues. He talked us through the multiple potential causes and I was able to send pictures of our baby’s hurt arm for him to view.
