Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect transparent communication. I reported these safety violations for roughly six months. The resident was āservedā two 10-day notices, yet nothing changed and the danger continued. After I sent my formal move-out notice, I never received any response or confirmation ā my resident portal access was simply removed without explanation. That is not āclose communicationā; itās avoidance. I terminated my lease under A.R.S. § 33-1361(A) due to ongoing safety concerns and managementās failure to act. Now Iām being billed thousands for their negligence. I will be pursuing this with legal and housing authorities.
When I moved into Ironwood Homes at River Run, the office constantly asked me to leave a 5-star review. Hereās the truth:
I had to legally terminate my lease under A.R.S. § 33-1361(A) because my home became unsafe and unlivable. A neighbor constantly sped through the alley near my garage ā I was almost hit on multiple occasions, including while walking with my baby and dog. I reported this to the leasing office in person and in writing multiple times. I even filed a police report. Nothing changed.
Despite telling them I was moving out due to this unresolved safety issue, they never responded, cut off my resident portal access, and then hit me with an outrageous bill for nearly $10,000 ā as if I left for no reason. Iāve provided documentation and now Iām still being harassed by their billing department.
If youāre considering moving here, ask yourself: What happens if something goes wrong? Will they protect you? Will they communicate? Or will they ignore you and then come after you for thousands?
