M. Cutone Mushroom Co, Inc. — Local services in Avondale

We bought mushrooms at M. Cuton on two occasions. The prices were compatible and mushrooms were fresh. With the Morel season settling in the area, I ordered over the phone 2lb of morel mushrooms that I couldn't find on my own and never tasted one before. Assuming that those would be fresh and picked locally, I paid $70 for old, tiny flown who knows when from Oregon. At home I discarded 8oz of soft and slimy ones sitting on the bottom of both paper bags. The next day majority was covered with mold. Everything went to trash. I know I will never stop at this place again....

December 2023 Update: Prices did go up, but still the best fresh mushrooms around. Many times have been open late, and I would be able to stop in and purchase mushrooms. Do have some prepackaged, but you can also get a custom mix box.

Corner parking lot can be a challenge to make a left onto the main road when the road is busy.

I've been coming to M. Cutone's for probably 10 years and have never been disappointed until my last trip. I purchased 10 lb of a mushroom assortment as well as another 5 lb of mushroom assortment.
