I could drive a great lap where the instructor said I was near perfect and I would average 80 mph. I drove faster on the freeway to and from the event. And my drive along instructor berated me constantly to the point of utter frustration and wanting to just pull over. Meanwhile my buddy (best man at my wedding) could drive 25 mph faster. If you go, make sure Harry isn't your instructor. I have a 600 hp ctsv so I know what 600 hp feels like. My car felt like it had 300 at best. Getting lapped multiple times and driving at yawning speeds while the guy yells at you and cuts your power for missing your marks by a couple feet is frustrating and not fun. My best man luckily enjoyed his best man's gift and had an instructor that would let him let it go. Put us both in high speed F1 go karts and we pull off similar numbers. Put me in a car with Harry the instructor and all of a sudden it appears I have no clue how to drive according to him. It's either that or Harry Sucks to ride with and ruins your $900 experience. Just say no to Harry.

Hers is a typical experience with Harry btw. He says "you are too far right," so you pull it left a little bit. Then he says you drive too choppy and cuts your power. What the heck. I am sure the guy can drive himself but he made me feel like a high school kid trying to get my license for the first time. Let me drive man. We weren't in any trouble and there was no traffic. I literally did drive to and from the place faster while weaving in and out of traffic in a slow Nissan Maxima since my cts-v is in the shop from getting rear ended. Just say no to Harry!!!

To top it off, everyone else gets out of their cars and is shaking from the adrenaline and cheesing like crazy. I got out and was ready to take a nap from my Sunday drive. Or else file a formal complaint and ask for my money back due to the most frustrating car ride ever. Luckily I still had the ride home in the rental maxima for a little fun. Seriously, just say...

Five stars for me. Three stars for my wife. First her review - Got the 24 minute track package for my birthday. The pit crew was great. Really did a good job getting me set up in the car. They were very friendly. Then, I got oushed out out on the track because I don’t drive a manual and they push start you. Then,it was weird. The crew chief supposed to talk to me and give me pointers really left me hanging. I spent my time near the yellow line and never really got up to speed. Then, on my first pit after 8 minutes, they pulled me from the car. I told them it seemed too short. They said I did great. I asked if I broke some rules. They said no. They pull you if you are pushing to hard against the limiter. Nope, I was just done. But I wasn’t. Finally figured out they pulled me too soon. Was able to get back and on my second and third run, the new crew chief was much better. Gave great feedback and I was able to get the car up to 121.31 mph. Very cool.

I did this at Texas in 2010, and it was amazing

PHX 2024 was a sloppy mess

Track wasn't ready on time, Radios were bad, top speed was only 4500 RPM (110 mph)

In the driver's meeting they tell you to slow down in a bank when you see the cones, and when you do the car falls flat on it's face.

I've been building/racing cars at the drag strip my entire life and these things are SLUGS.

We had my Dad and Myself drive. Mother and Wife were doing ride alongs.

They stuck my Dad in the car and had him wait 20 minutes in the car then put me in one so I couldn't even take a picture.

Wife was thrown in a car and darted off, Mother was next and my Father still was waiting in the car. So no family pictures like Texas.

Don't do it waste of money.
