My husband and I travel all over the southeast with a drag racing group so I’ve experienced a lot of drag strips. He’s an official so we see things from a perspective outside the typical spectator’s point of view. This review is MY opinion and not that of the association we work with so don’t criticize them if you disagree with my review. This place has ENORMOUS potential if they make some improvements. First, let me say the fans & locals who came out are phenomenal! Couldn’t ask for a more enthusiastic crowd or good group of people. The track itself, however, needs an upgrade. What I’ve learned from this venue (from a woman’s perspective): There is no sink in either of the bathrooms so bring some antibacterial wipes or antibacterial hand sanitizer with you (if you didn’t come in your RV). The asphalt on the track is cleaner than the restrooms. Don’t expect them to be cleaned regularly—only one stall was clean while I was there. Other toilets were either soiled on or stopped up. It took almost the whole day to get the other stall fixed/cleaned. Bring trash bags. The trash cans are not routinely emptied. Part of our race was rained out so we had to continue the next day. Got to the track the next morning and NONE of the trash cans had been emptied. Trash was overflowing. Trash was on the ground. It was ridiculous. There was a hornets nest in the stands and poison oak growing through the bleachers. Spectators were warned as we saw them enter the danger zone lol There were no lights on the far end of the fairway where we did the scales so after dark we couldn’t read our portable scales without flashlights. The concession stand was organized and convenient. Food was good. The announcers booth could be larger. Overall, we enjoyed the fans and the atmosphere but would love to see this place turned into the gem we know it can be. I hope we race here next year just because the locals...
Read moreWe got there around 6:45 or 7:00pm for "The Gassers" and we got to watch about 10 or 12 races until 8:20 PM (10 was being generous). We paid $40 for 2 people and left by 8:50pm because they were done. I feel they should have at least told us before we came in that it was almost over! Very disappointed because we were in town from East TN and was so excited to see some racing! Won't go back there...

Local governments let Developers build Housing Development around Motorsports complexes and then the next thing you know they want to shut...
