I just returned three perennial plants - (Eupatorium 'Gateway') I purchased August of 2023. The plants are NOT the correct cultivar, the flowerhead size was 6 inches instead of the 12 plus inches they should be. Your Oakwood employee Stella did a great job refunding my original purchase, and had to endure my crappy attitude telling her I wanted my money back. The owners should be embarrassed about the ridiculous labeling of their plant products!!! From working in the greenhouse industry (wholesale) I know what a pain it is to accurately label plants, the labels are expensive and add extra money to the production cost. However, customers DO read labels!!! Your Eupatorium 'Gateway' label states a final plant height of 24" to 36 inches. The real plant height is 60 to 72 inches plus! How can such an error make its way to a final product? Because Angelo and his little son AJ don't care, and think they can sneak it by, that customers won't notice! Obviously Petitti can't change their labeling issue because they sneak it by and not enough customers care to complain. The management of Petitti's is too lazy and cheap to properly label plants because that would mean they might have to correct a process and hire, pay and respect an employee to do the right thing. And that would cost more overhead expense and make more work! You're shooting yourself and the horticulture industry in the foot by turning off customers. Maybe you ought to review what Australian garden centers do, they label products clearly at great cost, but have reduced stress on their employees handling complaints. Bremec garden centers are taking your customers, they actually "care" more than you do! Signed...

Unfortunately, our great experience has come to an end. Over the last 6 months or so, a woman there working near the front always seems extremely annoyed that we're there. Quite honestly, it adds stress in what is a zen place. She always acts surprised by us as if it's the first time she met us near the register. Every other employee acts the exact opposite and greets us with open arms and gives the pup a pet.
Last week, we went for some of the sales, and I thought we may have been overcharged, so we went back to check it out. Turns out there was a finer print under the fine print, which to a customer wasn't fair. The sign states the sale in two ways and contradicts itself. Be greedy and keep the $50.
Anyways, I'm over that part. However, the lady at the front never made eye contact with us and was strictly financial. Not even a hello. Made us feel unimportant and stupid for inconveniencing her. She makes it uncomfortable for us to go here with her passive-aggressive behavior. We'll take our $300, sometimes more, a week sale somewhere that is more comfortable and affordable. She doesn't have the customers' best interest, and it's a huge turn-off to regular...
Read moreWe bought an outdoor patio set for our enclosed porch. They were very helpful. We have three doorways entering the porch, they marked it out on the floor according to our measurements and it fit the space perfectly. We added a couple additional ottomans twice and picked them up. They were great. Carrie knew and remembered our set and the additional ottomans arrived at the store quicker than anticipated. The set we bought has been great. It has the sunbrella fabric and I was worried about the rain, since it is in a screened in porch. Nothing at all to worry about, the fabric dried quickly. We were told just exactly what to do if the cushions became wet. So a win win! Great help picking out a set and also very explanatory about it's care. They also helped us with the correct furniture covers for winter. Has been a wonderful...
