Wear sunscreen, bring a hat and plenty of water! There’s bathrooms near the entrance only. Beautiful, geological hike! Definitely get a guide book for local plants, animals & rock formations! Best for older kids (6+) with adult supervision. You can wander around the entrance for beautiful views and a awesome experience. Neat hike through the rocks... once we got to the main area with the rings, we could hear a lot of buzzing - bees or wasps - just be aware. Lots of rabbits, very impressive rocks and scenery. If you go clockwise, you will be climbing the rings vs descending them. Entrance to the parking area was closed, we just parked at the gate...

We came here in early January and the few hours we were here we saw 3 other cars. It’s beautiful and peaceful here when it’s empty and not over run by tourists.

Our main goal is to come here was to star gaze during the new moon, but the beautiful clouds ruined for us. 🤦🏻‍♂️
