I was here back in 1997-1998. The 2 directors now we’re just chiefs back then. Chief Dave and Chief Brian ran the place back then. I was in a group called the prospectors, and my Chiefs were chief Sheldon and chief Neil. I was an out of control menace of a teenager who was completely lost. This place taught me a lot about problem-solving, who II was in a group called the prospectors, and my Chiefs were chief Sheldon and chief Neil. I was a out of control menace of a teenager who was completely lost. This place taught me a lot about problem-solving, who I was as a person, also a lot about how to work with others. I was just on the website and it brought back so many memories of my childhood. I am so happy to see that this place is still up and running and helping young boys grow into responsible young men and learning to have a relationship with the Lord. I would love for somebody to reach out to me and possibly talk on the phone and give a backstory on my life since I left this wonderful place and even the possibility of maybe one day making a trip up there and talking with these young men.God Bless you all and everything...

After researching numerous options for my son I found this camp a year ago and decided to call we had been through years of BSC and mobile therapy for ADHD and ODD behavior nothing seem to work as it progressed his grades dropped and he became more angry he turned 13 and after year on the waitlist we got a chance to meet Mr. Dan and his wife in our home. My son was very interested in the camp So we went up to look at it and he started the following week they have an amazing program there and do care about the boys genuinely and very professional about how they run the camp with the boys safety in mind at all times. So far my son has been there for a little over a month and has had one home visit he has learned so much already and it’s amazing to see the growth even just from a few weeks Any boy who needs direction guidance and teamwork and self-worth this would be the perfect camp for him I have never given a review this long but I feel this is definitely worth sharing, and I am truly Blessed For them to have excepted him into the camp. Truly our prayers were answered for my family...

I went here for about a year and a half and all I have to say is it wasn't at all what I expected it to be. When I went on a canoe trip on the Potomac River I was forced to do nothing by the chiefs, I couldn't swim, fish, all I could do was sit by and watch everyone else have fun. There were multiple times where I had come home with bruises because there were times where chieves got too physical and put their hands on you excessively. Whenever I did something wrong on a home visit, they would punish me by excluding me from group activities and talk mockingly. Another problem is the way they force religion on you. You are forced to go to a chapel service and a Wednesday night mass type ordeal called vespers. It really just seems like all they care about is money. They released me only because they stopped getting my S.S.I checks every month. If it wasn't for my mom, I would have lost...
