I went to drop off my food stamp renewal form in the outside drop box. I saw a notice saying not to use the drop box during business hours. I went inside. I've never done this before so I wasn't prepared for having to fill out a form telling them who I was and signing it. My forms had this information all over it. Strange. I asked about this and the clerk, who appeared to be overwhelmed, said that I had to do this because I came into the building. I will never do that again. I'll put the forms in the drop box as I always have. By the way, a sign on the box says that the forms are removed by staff every ten minutes. I try to call but they don’t give you a phone number that will reach a real human. They won’t help at all. There’s no way to really contact these people.
