I've given this place so many opportunities to please me and it just hasn't happened.
Every part of the course is poorly maintained. The fairways on the back 9 are completely dead, the greens have tire marks across them (#14's green is a freaking shag carpet), no one repairs their divots, and the rough is seldom cut. Be prepared to lose balls that aren't even OB.
Last time I went there approx 15 golfers were congregated by the starter because 'they ran out of carts.' I don't understand how that's even possible. We had to wait 45 minutes past our tee time and ended up just walking.

The back nine was better groomed and more interesting than the front nine, but the course was in fine shape overall. The greens generally ran true and not too fast. The closing hole was quite nicely sculptured and at the base of hill, framing the vintage club house. It cost me $16 to walk 18 holes (senior rate) on a weekday afternoon & I ended up playing with two locals who knew the course well and could not have been more helpful or friendly. Overall, it was a lovely early winter...
Read moreThe staff was friendly and helpful. The course has a lot of potential. Great place for a beginner player to learn. But learn golf ediquitte first. Played behind a group that had a new player with a 54 handicap. The rest of their group had finished 18 and we were still in #6 behind this group. We skipped two holes and finished the back nine in about an hour and 15 minutes. Wish the ranger had been out and about. The course is set in a neat location with some hills and flat areas. The greens had plenty of grass , could have been cut closer to speed up the roll. All in all I enjoyed my outing and would...
