I patronize this facility four times in total. The first time I came here was for a pedicure, and which the young lady Lee Lee nicked my toe so bad that I bled profusely and had to leave to to go home to take care of it in the essence of mistakes happen and forgiveness I didn’t hold it against lately, in fact, I return the next day to let her know that I accepted her apology and that I wasn’t upset and then I will come back so that she could do it right. I returned four days later after I heal, and I received a discounted pedicure at my request that was pretty decent. I returned yesterday to get my full set, soaked off In order to preserve the length of my natural nails Which were about a quarter inch or so long. During this time, there were other people in the facility getting other services and although I had an appointment after getting my nails soaked off, I was asked to return the next day . I obliged despite my fear of breaking my nails. In fact, I ended up not doing Much of anything that evening or the next morning in order to show up at this facility when they opened the next day to get the dip powder to preserve my nail length. During the application, my nails were cut drilled on shaped unevenly so much that now on one hand, I have absolutely no length. As a very feminine woman my nails are an important part of who I am which is why I went through great…lengths(pun not intended) to preserve my nails. I attempted for quite a long duration to remain positive. I even said out loud that I really liked Lee Lee and I was trying to remain patient and understanding I was noticeably uncomfortable with no reprieve. I made several comments about my dissatisfaction. I also showed it to another nail tech who speaks English. She attempted to shape reshape my nails I attempted to reshape my nails and now on one hand I have no nail length and on the other hand, I barely have any. I said as long as I could, and when I once they put regular nail polish on my hands, I knew it was time to go. It was clear that I had no intentions on paying for such horrible services. As I begin to exit under the knowledge of the young lady running the facility who speaks English, the Asian male employee begins yelling at me about money and quickly approaches me aggressively as to With there being far too many instances of black women being abused and traumatized in Asian facilities, whether that be nail shop or beauty supply stores, I refused to be another. But quite an unfortunate situation after all of my patience, positive thoughts and giving 2nd chances. This experience was quite traumatizing for me to feel like I even have to defend myself. It’s so unfortunate because I was hoping to have found my home nail salon because I’m within walking distance but I’d never patronize again. I felt utterly disrespected and unsafe despite never once getting upset even after I was injured and needed a few days to recover. I don’t want these sorts of places in my community where the community members are unappreciated and met with this type of...

I will never return. First off, I think this lady was new but she took over an hr just to do a a regular pedicure. She didn’t know how to properly take off the gel. I had to ask her to do my cuticles because she was about to polish them. 3 people came in after me received a mani and pedi and two were done before me. I asked to get a regular clean manicure, the lady who did it kept cutting my skin when she was doing my cuticles. She cut and filed my nails down so low. I was upset but I brushed it off because my nails grow fast and I said they can just get a fresh start.

The kicker was when another customer and I were drying our nails, the tech came up to me repeating “Card”. The other tech apologized for her and saying she had to catch the bus. I paid and immediately after, they cut the lights off on the us and started packing up saying we had to go because they had to catch the bus and their rides were outside. This was at 7:43 and google said they close at 8. It’s so hard to find a decent tech but I know this place will not get another dime from me after this experience.

When I get a manicure and pedicure, I normally just get the basic standard one. This was my second time here. The first time was cool which was a year ago. This second time was terrible. I had to wait outside before someone let me in… I had to flag someone down. Then the manager crack the door like I was gonna rob the place and I just call a few minutes before to let them know I was coming. The tech was rushing with me bc she messed up the previous customer’s nail. The manager or owner insulted the female customer sitting next to me by assuming she was a man bc of her short hair cut. Then he assumed he knew me like I was a regular customer… sorry sir all black people don’t look a-look. As a result I won’t be coming...
