We passed this place many a time admiring the HUGE tree stump... but never noticed that it was a place one could stop in at until pumpkin season. So we did!
They had orange pumpkins, white pumpkins, gourds, acorn squash a couple of squash that I have no idea what they are called. 🤪
The man helping us was super nice. We asked him about the HUGE tree stump which is about 30 feet tall. That VERY old and tall tree, about 150 feet tall in its day, was struck by lightning. So it had to be removed. A sad sad day for the owners. I am glad that there is still a partial tree to honor the majestic Elder of Nature and all its beauty it gave the people in the area.
