The groomers aren’t experienced and made one of my dog’s ear bleed (Lindsey). One groomer (Victoria) was supposed to be experienced with fearful dogs, which is why I made the appointment. She was not and because she wasn’t I had to pay 10.00 extra for “a difficult dog” fee. Kelli cut my dog’s eyelashes off when she was specifically asked not to.

When I complained to the owner Kathy she just made excuses, is rude, and doesn’t hold herself or her staff accountable. They told me how much my dogs would be before hand and then overcharge for everything by saying “well we only give estimates” after the fact.

Do your homework and listen to people’s reviews. They are there for a reason. Pay attention to how the owner responds by attacking the people who leave reviews of concern and upset.

Bad customer service, dishonest owner, and the owner is a bully instead of holding her staff and herself accountable for bad service. They lie, so that’s it in a nutshell.

Adding to this because now the owner is saying I was anxious while waiting. I was fine! Lol now she’s a therapist! So lame. I was walking around the shop looking at the stuff for sale while waiting. Her groomer Victoria was running in and out grabbing all these different dogs making my dogs stressed. Bad experience all around. The bad energy was coming from the groomers and their lack of experience. Lindsey learns from Petco. That’s a red flag!

Also, I think it’s funny that her play on words is that her groomers have 40 years of collective experience. None of those girls are even that old to have that much experience...

I used Renaissance Pet Resort and Spa for my 2 dogs several years ago when I went out of town for several days. I was able to call for updates whenever I wanted and everything sounded good. I had also requested bath and haircuts for them and they not only looked great when I picked them up, but seemed content which I appreciated even more. Even though I only have one of the dogs now, I needed to board her when an unexpected medical problem took me to the emergency room and I didn't know if I would be admitted to the hospital. Despite being over 30 miles out of the way, I decided it was worth it for her comfort and my peace of mind. Because Maggie is used to being with me almost always, I was first impressed how she pulled on her lessh, anxious to go inside the facility as I knew that she would have pulled in the opposite direction had she had a bad experience I was AMAZED that she went willingly with the staff person without pulling on her leash or whining or barking. She didn't even look back in my direction. I can't say enough about Rrnaissance! They provided a safe and enjoyable environment for my dog and gave me peace of mind. They even sent Maggie home with a report card which told me how she did with such things as eating, socializing with other dogs, and peeing outside.As long as I live within 100 miles of Renaissance, I will always select them if my dog...

We love Renaissance for grooming our dog, Chili. He is fearful of strangers and over time Kelli has managed to calm him down and gain his trust. Thanks to her, he is finally starting to get over his anxiety. We have followed Kelli from another location, and are especially fond of the work she does and her considerate treatment of our yorkie, Chili.

An interesting note—many groomers don’t really listen to your suggestions for dealing with your pets, but when I first brought in Chili, Kelli informed me that he didn’t like his feet being brushed and nipped at her, and was afraid of the dryer noise. I told her likes being brushed when I hold him in my lap, if that was an option. I don’t know if she tried it but the problem went away. And since then, every time I turn on my hair dryer, Chili runs to me and jumps in my lap—without fail. When he sees his hairbrush, again, he’s right there in my lap, begging to be brushed. I credit Kelli—and Renaissance—with making his grooming experience so positive.

Renaissance has also been a comfortable and convenient place to board Chili and cat together when we have traveled as well. We appreciate them being able to keep each other company—and because of that we are able to relax and enjoy...
