Gross, terrible, really not worth going through the doors. The hot case is nauseating, usually filled with dried-up, days-old looking product. If you told me it was all plastic food made for horror movie props, I would believe you. It doesn't look remotely edible.
The food is an offense on its own, but where this store really shines is the stocking. This Riesbeck's takes a unique approach in their stocking in that everything is damaged, expired, opened, or just plain caked in visible filth. Even the meat is busted open and rotting, with a telltale Riesbeck's Reek informing you that none of the raw products in the store are remotely safe for human consumption. I've come to associate the smell of rotting meat with Riesbeck's. That's not a good thing.
The only employees I've ever seen are either well into their nineties, or they're actual literal children that look like they should be at home doing their fifth grade homework instead of bagging rotten groceries.
If you're going to jack up prices to comically insane points for no reason other than the sting of greed, the least you can do is put in a little bit of effort to look like you care about the product you're overcharging for.
Skip Riesbeck's and the nightmare that is trying to grocery shop for your family in there. I promise you the hour long round trip to Aldi will do more for you than entering this stinking hellscape of meandering and agony.
Don't read this review, O regional manager, for your response will be useless. All that you'll do is have a meeting where you pretend to be excited for yourself, fire some high schooler, and change nothing. It's easier for all of us if you go back to your life and keep pretending you're not a fully grown adult trapped in a grocery job for the rest of your natural...
Read moreWell let me start with the store having a giant bulletin board in their breezeway, and yet you can't post anything on it. It never used to be that way. I grew up in this town and since I was a kid , you could post something for two weeks at a time. I have been repeatedly posting a flyer for my business for two months now, and it is taken down within a day or two. One manager says that she can't let me post it, she's not sure, and the other manager said that you can post stuff and it stays up for two weeks. Yet I came in two days later and it was down again. The store is price gouging the town during an epidemic. They should be ashamed for that too. You would think for all the money they are charging people for food and supplies, that they could at least fix the big holes in the entrance of the parking lot. What a sad store...
Read moreIt's great to have a store like Riesbecks in our community. With the recent turn off events taking the world by storm, Riesbecks is there. The amount of effort they are pulling off is amazing. Shelves are well stocked, even when it is late in the day. They aren't price gouging and are running sales on items. Quantity on some items are being limited, but that is to be expected in order to be fair to everyone. With the amount of precautions they are taking to protect their customers and workers, you will feel safe shopping there during these unprecedented times. Hopefully one day, this store will expand with even more product selection and get a facelift much like the Cambridge or Saint...
