Clarion River — Local services in Barnett Township

We float the clarion all the time. Kayaks, canoes, tubes, we've done it down the clarion. Spring time is the best as it gets pretty low late summer. Good fishing and a good time the whole way down. There's rapids called the x,y,z but they're nothing crazy. Super simple float with a lot of camping spots along the way. There's a rope swing between lazy boy and Portland mills. I have a soft spot for the Clarion river. I have so many amazing memories with so many amazing people. It has some of the best scenery in Pennsylvania. I love to float down the rover in a tube or a canoe and just take in the beauty. Many beautiful spots to hike or wade is the river. Clarion River is a nice place to visit to just relax and unwind with the sounds of nature around you.  In my case, I like visiting down to eat lunch while sitting on one of the benches near the boat launch and enjoy a warm breeze.  The hill going down to the river is a bit steep and you'll have to be mindful of any turns and braking responsibly.
