I inherited a p.o.s dodge caravan from a family member who had a stroke and was put in a facility that can no longer drive it. I paid the $300 the shop owner required to get the keys. Husband drove it and the brakes were gone. We asked for an estimate to try to get the brakes done to be able to drive it safely off of the lot. He quoted us at over $2,500; we said pass, was way over charging for our request of the specific work, nothing more. We drove it home and it literally is sitting in the yard in the exact condition we got it from him. We got a letter from RCB Range collections- he sent the “ESTIMATE” in as a BILL for work that was NEVER DONE. This is FRAUD. I called and a woman answered and I told her what was going on, I wanted to talk to the owner. She put me on hold, then hung up on me. I called back and with attitude asked what I wanted and I said I already told you, and then you hung up on me-if you do not call and fix it, I will be suing. She goes “we will wait for the paperwork”. If I could give NEGATIVE STARS I would. If ya’ll are trying to charge me for storage, guess what, the date it was transferred in my name proves I am not responsible for however long my family member let it sit there and the voicemails I have regarding the van. It is just a matter of time before all of your BS catches up and may the Most High God pay you back for all you have done to others. He is still a God of JUSTICE and sees EVERYTHING, you will not get away with this. Don’t be surprised if this place gets shut down in the future, they have it coming. This company is not BBB accredited and I could not find them on the list for legit businesses on the Minnesota iMS website. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE-THERE ARE MUCH BETTER SHOPS IN THE AREA!!! Used to be the best place to go, Reliable, good service, but not anymore.

In the last year . . . .

My vehicles went back and forth and not getting the same problem fixed for more than six months. Hi The used to have 5 mechanics on staff at all times, but now it's whittled down to maybe one and maybe Terry. No yard personnel anymore. My truck sat there 3 weeks it was supposed to be finished and out of there in a couple of days, it wasn't and sitting fee 2 1/2 weeks nothing was done and it was broken into. They only had to put a new fuel filter on it (10 minutes work). They say they have cameras out front but they don't exist, it's all a lie. Zero security. They told me they were going to bring my vehicle inside but never did and never worked on it either. I finally had to cut my losses and just get myself out of there due to lack of security. I've been going going to this company for about eight years it was always a little chaotic but I called it Controlled Chaos. It's gone downhill in the last year don't go there, you'll leave without your vehicle being finished and disappointed or Never Leave It All.

How thing's can change in only a year, beware.

Barnum automotive was much better than we expected. They were very professional, kind and courteous. They got my vehicle in almost immediately when I came in to get the air conditioning fixed. A little over 2 hours later they come with a solution that would allow me to have air conditioner again in my vehicle. The gentleman that fixed my car was very nice, friendly and funny. Plus something that he did that I very much enjoyed as a person that has a wide variety of interests. He explained to me everything that he was doing while he was doing it. That way. I knew exactly what was going on and that man itself made me way more comfortable. The first time going there but I'm very impressed with us far. My only complaint is I think that they could have air condition in there there waiting room and maybe clean up that area a bit. I realize that they're not just a repair place. They're also a wrecking yard so parts are spread everywhere. I think, f* you but I think it would leave a better impression for those people that are getting their cars apparent there to have a clean at and cool climate in the waiting room while they're waiting for their car to be repaired.
