I just have to say we had an absolutely fantastic chance encounter here weirdly enough after a meltdown by my youngest son at Sonny Acres when we saw it was impossible to social distance and had to leave. We weāre about to get a milkshake and head over to Wheaton Nursery as they had a cute set up there too for pumpkins to them have my son see Prestige Market closing up as it was by and my son demand to stop there now too. Well low and behold as time had it we caught an owner/vendor there mid way through locking up from the days crafts fair event happenings. ( FYI: My son, keep in mind heās just turned 5 and has mild sensory issues too boot. Plus my family being high risk make it already exhausting enough when this stuff starts kindness tends to run slim. As we were at this point desperately seeking something to suffice this this solution, the owner or one of their owner/Vendors Iām sorry my memories a blur but, Steve was the gentlemans name, had so kindly offered to let us purchase a few of their small pumpkins from their store front display here today as well as some lovely very festive ( & very tasty too) holiday cookies and let us take a peek inside here when they were closed. So it was a win, win all around.
Talk about some wonderfully fantastic luck and such a super fabulous find for the holidays coming up here too. See to me this is what local businesses bring to a community, itās your kidās teams little league sponsors, this kind of ābusiness modelā paired with smart safety measures make us able to be open for our local community to shop safely for everyones sale. This is really what shopping small should be about. Donāt get me wrong moms need their Targetās and Costco too. Iām just saying. Walmartās managers or employees are not going to go out of their way a freaking hair to help, vs. this one guy saving this moms sanity today. Here is a great place to go and support your local community and creators. Also thx again for helping out a very frazzled mother of 3. That simple act of kindness was truly appreciated and saved our entire outing here. So go on by and check it out with Over 90 artisanal local vendors and shops all in one very large spot. They have a out door fall craft tent sale...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI absolutely love to support small businesses.Everything in this lovely location reminded of the Annual Arts and Craft shows at Arlington Race Track.Lots of great immediate gift purchases for others here. Customers were very cordial of the spacing in the separated rooms. Unfortunately, the nice experience ended poorly with the male employee (with a beard) took over the checkout computer. While there are "partial" glass shielding hanging from the ceiling between the checkout and customer, when I asked it if the other individual behind him could serve me instead, as he was not wearing a mask, he became irritated and annoyed and said it was not State mandated. Just the fact that he challenged me on the simple request of being checked out with someone else , made it uncomfortable for everyone witnessing this behind me. I was not going to even respond any further until this challenging response. I told him it did not matter, he was handling a lot of customers stuff without even using hand sanitizer or a mask or any covering at all, in between transactions. I had just finished telling my larger circle of friends in a group text to come and visit with their daughters for a short time. I almost left the store , but was thinking of the small vendors whose items I was purchasing and wanted to complete the purchase, even though these items could be found online for less.
I actually came here to pick up some gardening items outside, but fell upon this extra nice surprise. However, I will not visit again and advise others to not to frequent this location because of this employee's complete disregard for the very simple task of wearing a mask when handling things with the public.
Sadly, at my own work the exact individual who was an anti-masker in opinion, actually contracted the virus last week dealing with the public. Karma.
I agree with the earlier poster Michelle, it is not worth the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI absolutely LOVE Prestige Creative Markets! It's my getaway treat to myself when I need a break. They are always super friendly and helpful and there are always new and unique treasures to explore, find, and...well, buy! š
My teen daughter also loves coming. She loves all the fun finds and decorating ideas and when she is tired, she finds the resident barn cat, Willow, and loves on her until Mom is done shopping and chatting.
The event room is just GORGEOUS, too!! I love walking in there and just absorbing the great atmosphere!
If you are looking for variety and fun finds for yourself or for gift giving, this is a great place to come! One of my favorite places...
