We bought a Chromcraft kitchen set in 1986 that we loved. We remodeled our kitchen in 2018 and chose to replace our set with a new Chromcraft set. We are very disappointed in the quality of this set vs. our first one. The finish on the edge of the table started to flake off after the first year. Furniture Fair would not do anything since we refused the extended care option. We didn't think it was necessary for a high end set when our first one held up great for 32 years. I tried to get a response from Chromcraft and got nowhere. We just had a screw break off where the base of a chair attaches to the seat. I can not remove the broken screw so the chair now leans due to a missing screw. We are very disappointed to see the decline in quality from a once great company. Furniture Fair highly recommended Chromcraft as the premium brand in kitchen dining sets. We would have to say that is no longer true based on...
