Great place to go to get a sweet treat when you want to get out, as someone that lives near by this is a great little store with great prices and an even greater cashier/ owner, it is a nice little step into the past with a fun and sweet twist with candy, custom wood toys, jewelry and much more. My favorite thing is all the bottle caps on the ground outside that the owner takes and throws out from the bottle opener machine that is cool to hunt and collect. This store is adorable and the owners are so nice. Trey and Buffy were super helpful and friendly. I could've stayed there all day talking to them. The store had a good selection of candy and souvenirs in a beautiful historic building. The only thing I wish they'd had were stickers representing the town but it's ok, I can always order one online! One of favorite stores we've been in while traveling...

Mellon’s Country store is a great place to step back in time. It’s changed owners since I was there years ago. I love old stores like this. I grew up in one so I have a soft spot for them.
