Midway Bowl Berkeley Springs — Local services in Bath (Berkeley Springs)

I finished a summer league here several weeks ago and was very impressed with how nice the owner and staff are to the customers. It's nice to see some of the new food menu items added recently. Fried green beans and fried pickle chips!! I especially enjoy The Donnie burger with fries and the shrimp basket with fries!

During my last visit to Midway Berkeley Springs I did notice that due to fewer staff food orders took longer and lane assistance was slower. Had to wait several minutes for ball returns during games. Also, several lanes were not operating due to less staff to repair them.

Overall, this bowling alley is great! I will be joining several fall leagues...

Pros: Still a bowling alley and I'm sure if you only care about bowling, this will be fine. That's the 2 stars.

Cons: They closed the bowling alley in order to fix something that wasn't broken. The staff we looked forward to seeing weekly was let go. They seemingly intend to open for the fall leagues, and I would love to try them out, because I have grown to love this sport thanks to the former admin and staff, but I'm not sure what to expect and won't make any decisions before I go back.

Bowling has gotten ridiculously expensive in NoVA, so when I found this place I was very happy. You can take a family out for two hours of bowling, and still have money to pay your mortgage.

Cheap is one thing, but it also delivers with fun. We needed a Saturday evening activity and this was perfect. The GM was also incredible. I called and asked for sock prices and she let me know the place was filling up and she held two lanes for our party. Superb customer service! I hope to come back...
