Read moreWhat a gem! We are homeschoolers and frequent visitors to Burke Lake. This place is perfect for learning, observing, and experiencing all things bird. Great way to see local birds that don't frequent backyard feeders. We recommend going a few times as different birds migrate throughout the time the station is open. Guaranteed to see and release from your hands some amazing birds. Very family friendly! The kind staff are truly a highlight. They are very willing to engage small children and share their joy about birds. The staff make you feel welcome and help create a truly delightful experience. My bird enthusiast daughter says this is one of her very favorite places to be. We are so fortunate to have this unique resource. Don't wait, get up...
