Went to bait shop today as my usual bait shop was out of skipjack. Called to make sure they were in stock & told they had plenty.

Female behind the counter immediately demanded I remove my covid mandated face mask and look at her security camera, comparing her bait shop to a bank. Offended but I obliged as directed. Not sure if it was because of my long hair, didn't seem to have any problems with my son in law.

I fish at Rainbow alot. Last year was not good fishing But, It was not good anywhere else either. Normally I catch lots of nice cats, big ones too! The owners want you to catch fish. They will help you too but, you must do alittle homework yourself. The bigger a cat gets the harder he is to catch. study! Hot weather- fish at night using bigger baits. Cool water use smaller baits. Fresh, cut bait is a all around good choice. The owners are not hard to get along with.They own Rainbow Lakes, we are paying guests.
