Note to Todd: I have had the opportunity and fortune to get to know Mike Gerald as he has been a neighbor of ours (camps on False River) for over 10 years. If I could pick anyone in the world to be my neighbor it would definitely be Mike and his lovely family. He, by far, is the kindest, most generous, most uplifting, person who would give any one the shirt off his back and the last dollar in his pocket if there was someone in need! And it makes no difference who the person is!

From the situation you described, it definitely sounds like he has already had some dealings with the individual, and he was not only looking out for the best interest of his business, but the customers who he considers the backbone of his business. It's sad that there are people in this world that by own their actions would cause a person of Mike's caliber to show him the way out of his business. How can I be so sure, you ask? Because I have seen this man do so much good and am willing to bet the next mess of sac-a-lait on it. Also, there are always comments confirming my thoughts of Mike from anyone I talk to who has ever been to his Trailer Depots.....and that's a LOT...

I purchased a 40’ Sure Pull trailer from Mike Gerald approximately 7 years ago. I have continued buying parts throughout the years until now, and I’ve always received professional service. I’m posting today to recognize Will and Tim (Service Manager). I accidentally ripped my plug from my trailer wires. This happened Tuesday evening, two days prior to Thanksgiving. Upon my arrival, Mike Gerald’s was closed. I was frantic, because I didn’t know how I would complete my run without trailer lights and breaks. However, I noticed staff walking to their vehicles. I approached Will and asked him for help. Will agreed to help me. Next, Tim approached us, and he began to help too. Not only did they help me, these guys help me draw a diagram of the harness connector. Therefore, if I ever make a mistake again, I could repair it myself. In addition to that, they had me plug up the harness and they checked to make sure that all my trailer lights worked appropriately. We bought a McClain boat trailer last year and a bearing cap seal on the trailer tire went bad. We called Mike Gerald’s Trailer company and spoke to Janai. She was very accommodating and professional. When I arrived with the trailer, I was met by Mike Gerald and he pulled the trailer in to a work bay, and replaced the bearing seal and I was on my way within 30 minutes. They covered this repair under warranty and were so nice and efficient. They stand behind their product and their trailers are the best! If we ever buy another trailer, we will purchase from them.
