Researching wholistic horsemanship venues throughout MN, I was hoping to find a place and people who respect and care for horses in a way that’s gentle and builds mutual respect. When I found Stacie and Spirit Horse Center, it did not take long to realize that this was the place I wanted to be in and the person I wanted to work with and learn from. Stacie is, hands down, one of the most incredible teachers and a true master of her craft. She has years of experience and knowledge and is committed to continuous improvement for her self, her beautiful venue, and for all of the lovely equine individuals she cares for. She is patient and kind and knows how to listen with her whole heart to both humans and horses. You will not find a better teacher in the Midwest. Stacie and her staff host incredible events and bring in experts from all over the country. The venue is amazing and kept very clean, tidy and in top shape, and everyone here is friendly and cooperative. This is a wonderful center where they honor, love and respect their beloved horses. I spent a week training and hanging out with everyone. I had the pleasure of meeting several of the trainers and students and the honor of working with Janelle and obeserving Staci train and mentor her students. Most exciting for me was hanging out with all the horses! Everyone was welcoming and generous with their time, energy and information. I am new to the horse world so I arrived with lots of questions. I got to observe a visit from the vet and dental cleanings. Staci continues to keep me connected and informed about all the exciting opportunities to learn about horse care. I am so thankful to have found Spirit Horse Center! As a new horse owner I was in need of guidance, training, and boarding. I found all of that and more! My two horses LOVE boarding there. When they aren't there they miss their horse friends and especially Staci, Maranda, and Janelle. Sometimes I think they prefer being at Spirit Horse Center than at home. Both horses have started training and they use holistic training methods and really partner with the horse which was very important to me.
