Matagorda County Fairgrounds — Local services in Bay City

There are only two seasons in which anything fair wise occurs here. The ride are average for what a traveling fair can provide. The cover charges are too many and grossly overpriced. However, this many be ploy to keep questionable people out of the fair ground, who knows. I think it crazy to pay nearly 20 bucks for my whole family to stand inside with rides and then an addition 80 dollars to wrist band a family of four. Then there is more cost for food, drink, petting zoos, and games. I really think there should be a better bundle deal here...

Love how well the Fair Association and Lions Club work together to put on the Rice Festival. Carnival was better this year however bracelet prices were pretty ridiculous, with "all day" bracelets expiring at 5pm, but the Lions were aware and I hope will work this out with the carnival vendor next year.
